What a week! Epic changes happening over here – expect an exciting announcement at the beginning of March. In the meantime, all the Monday matters:
Leave it to Facebook memories to remind me that exactly one year ago today I embarked on what I thought would be my “35 day detox” diet.
In classic detox diet style, I happily ate one more cherry-filled vegan pastry the night before, assuming I would make it through my 5 weeks of no sugar but pleased to have an excuse to enjoy dessert one more time.
My life changed for the better on Sunday. I finally – FINALLY – found a “Jessica approved” substitute for bread.
Guys. I ate a sandwich. Or as close to a sandwich as I’ve gotten in practically a year.
All the Sunday photos…
If you follow me on social media, you are well aware of my current love affair with Thrive Market. I’ve mentioned it before on the blog as well, but Thrive Market is essentially a cross between Whole Foods, Amazon, and Costco. Health conscious products at a serious discount that arrive at your door? Sign me up.
My mother makes the best salad dressing on the face of the planet. I’m sure you think I’m exaggerating, but really though. Olive oil + red wine vinegar + onion powder + magic and all of a sudden your whole family is standing over the salad in the kitchen before it even makes it’s way to the dining room table. Once I introduced it to my friends in college? Game over. I was summoned to make “Nanc’s dressing” for every salad and sub purchased from that point forward.
My weekend in pictures + five words or less…
